Tasting Notes: Rich and complex nose mixing black berries (blackcurrant, back cherry) with spicy and minty notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with silky tannins and a lingering aftertaste giving notes of dark berries, coffee, vanilla and liquorice.

It was in 1725 that Irishman Thomas Barton settled in Bordeaux to start his company, which is today the city’s oldest winehouse still in activity… His grandson Hugh teamed up with Frenchman Daniel Guestier and in 1802 their partnership became official.
